Description

A fast growing, tall and slender palm tree, Washingtonia robusta will easily grow up to 30 meters, or 100 feet. Well known from the famous Los Angeles skyline and its avenues, this palm is primarily planted as ornamental tree worldwide. Its palmate leaves can grow to more than 1.5 meters, or around 5 feet in diameter, forming an attractive crown high up in the sky. Washingtonia robusta can also be found indoors, although growing the palm in a container will never allow it to reach taller heights.
